Marriage is the most beautiful and the sacred bind tied by the bride and groom for their entire life. In fact, according to Hindu mythology, a couple ties the marriage bond for their seven lives, the vows for which they take in the seven pheras. Marriage does not only mean taking the pheras and exchanging garlands, it actually means supporting and standing by each other s side for the lifetime. Marriage is also said to be a very delicate bond, which needs to be handled with lots of care to save it from any breaks or damages. Keeping the marriage bond intact is not only the duty of one person, it s the bride and groom together, and who can save marriage from falling prey to misunderstandings. It is very important for the brides and grooms to be equally considerate about their marriage bond and take every step to enhance their marriage bond.
Indian weddings are full of traditions and cultures, rituals and practices, all of which continue even after the marriage. One always talks about the importance of brides in the marriage, but if we see, grooms play an equally important role in marriages. A marriage is just not possible, if the groom is not a part of it. Marriage is an alliance of both the bride and groom for the rest of their lives.
It is always said, that keeping the marriage bond alive and adding the factors of fun and happiness in it, is the duty of the bride. But, the times have changed now and it s a joint effort, which leads a marriage bond to a successful wedding. There are many things, which a bride is being taught before going to her new family, but the groom is always thought to be the perfect one. Earlier the Indian groom was the one, who was supposed to handle only the financial part of the family, but now the times are different and he is equally responsible for the smooth functioning of their marriage bond. Like a new bride, a new groom is also supposed to take care of few things, before entering into a new relationship with his life partner.
Following is a description of the points, which should be kept in mind by a new groom :
1.The new groom should always be polite and give space and time to his life partner, to understand and adjust according to the new environment of the house. It s the bride, who has to leave her house and enter into a new and different lifestyle, for which she should be given time and leisure to enjoy her new life.
2.The support of the groom is very important at every step of the marriage journey, but at the starting it becomes all the more important that the groom gives his support to the bride and does not make her feel alone at any point in life.
3.Courtship period is the time, which should be best utilised by the bride and groom to know each other and gives them a chance to make their relationship grow and understand each other. During this period, the groom should make every effort to know the bride and make their marriage bond stronger.
4.The new groom should help the bride in understanding and implementing the rituals of his house. The customs and the traditions are different in every house, due to which the bride takes time to adapt the change of her new house. The groom has to be with the bride at every step, so that she does not make any mistake and gets her hands well on the practises followed in her new house.
If the new groom keeps all the above mentioned points in mind, then it gets easier and enjoyable for the new bride to adjust. Every wife loves that her husband supports her in every way and if that support and understanding is showered on the wife from the starting of their marriage, then they are sure to share the most loved and happy moments in their married life.
