Living a healthy lifestyle is a lot more than a hobbyist pursuit. There are a loads of physical and mental benefits that can derive from regular exercise and proper diet. The impact that fitness models can have on the average person is that of a role model. While the average individual may not be able to achieve such a look, the person can use a fitness model as inspiration to engage in a program designed to get them into better shape. As such, much of the psycho-babble with regard to the negative images models project is somewhat untrue.
